Sandra Nordgren founded and imple-ments the New Works Reading Series
(NewWorksReadingSeries.weebly.com)

Readings are presented at NYC's  Physics Theater and 13th Street Repertory Co. This series provides a forum for playwrights, composers, and lyricists to develop their work.
A Q & A follows the reading.

Nearly 200 readings and an offering of 35 productions, 16 development work-shops, 11 short play festivals, and 2 theater playwright residencies resulted from this Reading Series, all in NYC and all at no cost to the playwright.
Many of the works in this reading series come from the New Works of Merit Playwriting Contest, the first 12 of the New York Theatre Experience's anthologies: Plays and Playwrights. The anthologies are comprised of the best new plays and musicals reviewed by nytheatre.com, one of our country's most prestigious theater websites.
